On August 21st 2024, GBAHR in association with Weekly Surma organised a press conference on Student Movement & aftermaths at the National Press Club in Dhaka.
The press conference was intended to express views on the recent student revolution and its aftermaths, and to declare the issues of Bangladeshi diaspora.
GBAHR’s convener and weekly Surma editor Shamsul Alam Liton presided over the press conference while eminent personalities and politicians including Shafik Rehman, Mrs Taleya Rehman, Nurul Huq Nur et al were also present.
